Actually the number is quite a bit higher for random posts I am sure but ah well.
Things are busy. Not overwhelmingly busy but just busy enough that nothing really slows down for long. Always things to do. Plus waiting, I hate waiting even although I am sure it's good for me. It's sort of a thing where I teeter between burnout and full-burn. A precarious balance that I seem to usually live a lot of life on. Lots of people do.
Things randomly coming up: IV/XA dinner tomorrow, 5pm meet by the XA/IV office, lunch with Allison Friday (yay!), Exalted Friday evening (better get some planning done), history test in a week, and other assorted goodies, surprises, etc.
Continuing on the random pace: when I started watching X this weekend I thought about how I'd like it more if the good character became bad. This thought was brought on because the main character was acting all bad-ass even though it's inherently obvious he is destined to become the good guy. Well surprise! The "bad-ass" guy does become good but one of the guys who was attempting convince him to be good becomes evil the instant he chooses. And not the pussy kinda evil but the "I'll steal you're big shiny sword, kill my own sister and then nearly kill you in the space of about 3 seconds since I have become evil" evil. Downright freaky and a little depressing cause I liked him more then the main character and now he's the bad guy. Guess I should be careful what I wish for eh?
Ok, no more anime in this post I swear. And no RPGs. Honest.
I should really end this post now just for laughs.
If you're not a musician can you claim to better knowledge of music then someone who is? For that matter should anyone be actually claiming to know what's good music or not? I've heard a lot of people of late trumpeting about how everything but what they like is crap. Of course if they all intermixed the world would be absolutely silent. Think I'd just prefer everyone would talk about what they liked and not stomp on other people's choices. Having a preference does not imply some sort of lack of knowledge, it's a preference. Respect the difference.
That was a rant. Whee. There's a new Sam & Max game coming out. I'm gonna buy it. Even though it probably won't come out for another year or more. It's Sam & Max. They're hilarious. Who else has a version of Battleship called Car Bomb where you can blow up a hearse using a trampoline? Or have a small furry rabbit jump highway signs whilst driving 100+ mph? "Stop him Sam, he's gonna tell a story!"
Anyhow, time to hit the road or go to bed or something. Much to do again tomorrow. Coverage begins 0830 CST. Enjoy.

Thought experiment alert!!
Readers are no longer allowed to say what books/publications/blogs are good. Only writers can, because only writers are able to determine what is good writing. If you are a reader, you must respect what everyone else is reading; if you're Richard Dawkins, you must like sitting next to Jerry Falwell, Jesse Jackson to Sean Hannity.
(Sorry, Beeks. The logic just doesn't hold up. See ya tomorrow!)
Or does it? Maybe these guys should get along when they sit next to each other. Heck they probably could especially if they didn't have to prove they were right all the time. That's my argument, I seem to get pounded a lot by people who think their preference in music is correct. In all honestly, I don't care, listen to whatever makes you feel good.
